LibertyLiberty Silver: juggling her time running the Parkwood project, working as a gardener and studying.
RitaRita Lida Perez Valencia: keen on green mapping, especially in relation to public growing projects.
FionnFionn O'Sullivan: keen on most aspects of green living.
PoppyPoppy Pickard: very active with WDM and is a Fair Trade saleswoman.
LauraLaura Laker: local journalist who is ready to get her hands dirty and is taking leadership on the green houses project.
TinaTina Maas: keen to get involved in local growing projects and wants to learn more about growing at home.
SueSue Gellhorn works for the NHS and wants to learn about gardening. She is liaising with John Scott Health centre on the mini orchard project there.
Tanya, Carol, Almas, Sarah and Jo are also in this group and on the steering group. Carol is leading on the Jamboree project and Tanya is leading on Mydletton Estate. Tanya says "I am interested in using what urban land we have resourcefully to increase our local food production. (This applies to both the growing group and my family.) I would also like to discover some more imaginative ways of preserving food.
