Jamboree growing spree

Our project bid to Haringey Council's Greenest Borough Innovation Fund has been successful. And that's on top of our ongoing support form Capital Growth.

In early 2010, Jamboree Playhuts at the south end of Finsbury Park will gain eight large wooden raised beds which will be planted with vines, herbs, soft fruits and fruit trees. Signage in five local languages will explain how to maintain and propagate the plants, as well as giving information on the nutritional content of produce.

love the parklove the parkA couple of weekends back we were to be found down in Finsbury Park informing the public about out our transitions group, composting and (more importantly) helping small children make badges. Our stall featured the lovely compost consultant and Bokashi specialist, Tom an expert in all things compost related.
